Editorial policy
Silver Cinema Journal aims for careful, readable accounts of cinema-going history. We make clear what an article establishes, what it interprets and what remains uncertain.
Accuracy and independence
We check names, dates and historical claims against reliable material before publication and revise wording when the available record does not support certainty. Articles are developed independently; a commercial relationship does not buy editorial conclusions or favourable coverage.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or a misleading description, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review correction requests and amend published text when warranted, making the change clear where the substance of an article has changed.
Partners and labels
Paid placements and partner material are identified clearly as such. Their presence does not determine our editorial coverage, and we do not present promotional copy as independent editorial work.
Images and illustration
Images are chosen to support the subject and are not evidence for a historical claim unless the article says so. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where used, they are identified and are not presented as archival photographs or documentary records.
